Shariful Taher is a screenwriter and director, born and raised in New York City.

His work includes the short film GHAZI, which will make its world premiere at the Oscar Qualifying HollyShorts Film Festival.

Shariful has also directed music videos for emerging indie artists, as well as commercials for fashion brands and album campaigns.

He is currently developing his debut feature film, expected to enter production in the Summer of 2026.
